Reno County, KS | I say take the bike out and a get a couple practice runs under your belt first. Launching the Vision and finding the shifting sweet spot is a little different on the Vision than with a lot of the other bikes that are a lot lighter. I have had a hard time timing the rev limiter, especially after the Cams were upgraded. I would'nt be adverse to taking the guy out. I really wouldn't hold any punches or worry about his feelings being hurt since he has decided to jack his jaw with his HD buddies. Since he's shown his ass, I wouldn't feel guilty handing it to him in front of them. |

Buford, GA United States | If you want a challenge go find a BMW 1200LT to play with as the HD is not a problem with the cams. the BMW will want to start with a roll as they have no torque to start with but can keep up with a rolling start...at least they have a chance... |

| No problem with the rev limiter with Lloyd's new rev extender.
Used to bang the rev limiter all the time, have not done it with the 6,400 limit. |

Northeast Ohio | KevinX, since that came from HD, it is probably measured at the crank, not at the wheel. All of our dyno numbers are at the wheel (for those that rolled the bike onto the chassis dyno). If this is the case, subtract 10% for drivetrain loss. At least that is a typical car number for drivetrain loss.

Funny thing happened a few years ago. HD started posting numbers from the wheel, and Vic moved to the crank. Those numbers match what I know to be real at the tire, as are the ones I posted from the Vision.
Just an FYI. Crank to wheel loss tends to be around 14% |

Myself i would race him on a dyno. Maybe that twin dyno truck that does the racing I saw years ago in Myrtle Beach. |

I use to flag back in high school on the stretch outside of town. I have been threatened more than once with a ticket for witnessing a drag race. |
