When I was a young man of 4 or 5 my Dad had a friend we would visit. As I remember he was a huge friendly black man, strong, solid, with gleaming white teeth. His name jumped into my mind when I first rode my '09 black, strong, solid Vision, gleaming with Chrome, and build like a jet fighter - Hence the name "Earl" named after Earl Jett.

My wife calls it the clown bike because one of the Gold Wing guys posted these pix on a thread about the Vision vs GW.

Hilarious! Bozo's exactly what I thought of when I first saw the Vision in a mag, and a photo about like that one. I was only familiar with the cartoon Bozo, though. The flesh and bone one is kinda creepy, huh? (:-0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGPh7DAlSm8 Look at thr Bozo Vic Vid On You Tube .

I have a 2010 Vision 8 Ball. I call it "Bad Horsie" . I'm thinking of getting this name painted on it somewhere. My 12 year old Daughter calls it "Vector". I responded to her by saying, Do you call it that because it has "magnitude" and "direction", she just rolled her eyes at me and said, "No".

Why name something that's not going to come to you when you call it.

Yours doesn't come when you call it? Perhaps that's because you haven't named it! Mine obeys many commands. Such as stay. Whoa boy. Sit. Growl. Bark. Run. Run FAST. And much more.

Not too original, and I'm sure others have used it, but mine is "Nessy" for my 2009 Arlen Ness Vision, #150. I am thinking of a vanity license plate: NESS150.
