As one of the retired guys let me take moment to check my schedule. Zip ahead .05 nano second. Yep! I'm free that day. No surgeries or other disgusting old man treatments that day. Let me know when this is a firm date so I can start staring at my calandar.

Yep, mine too! I haven't had a surgery in more than two years, so I'm good to go. All I need is a firm date. I assume that this will be an over nighter. So if that's correct, where's everyone staying at? It's about a three to four hour ride from Tucson to Prescott so that makes sense to me. Besides I haven't been there in awhile and would make for a good ride.

Let me know.

After further review, looks like I won't need to spend the night. If all goes well, I should be able to get back to Tucson around 6 PM. My Harley riding buddy wants to come along as well. He's a retired engineer and wants to see process. March 20th seems like such a LONG time away!

You and your bike can stay at my house if you like. I have a spare room with one of "those sleep thingys" and I live near Joe. I have room in the garage for our Visions. I have a TV in the garage where I smoke cigars and stay out of my wifes way.

       Very generous offer Necktie! But... Two of my riding buddies are coming with, just to ride and get out of the snow for a while. Maybe we can get a ride in together, heard Cottonwood Canyon is nice. We'll be trailering down on the 18th and will have Friday free to whatever. Is there a nice hotel w/sportsbar or nearby watering hole in Prescott? Who serves the best ribeye?

       Look forward to meeting you in any case.

Just to let you guys know. We have a full roster.

Grey Rider has the 1PM time slot.
That leave us with....
7AM
10AM
4PM
The last bike is one that is being dropped off for pick up later. I need everybody there at least an hour before your slot. Now I will leave it to you guys to work out the when of it...

OK Az. Rob is now in the 10AM slot. As he was the drop off bike that means I will want the last bike there around 5pm I ussually make some time up through the day, and should still have that bike out at a reasonable time. I think it would be best if the last bike were Neck Tie since he is the local, or Paul since he will be doing an overnight.
7AM=open
10AM=AZ Rob
1pm=Grey Rider
4pm=open
5pm=open
Remember that you need to get there about an hour early for cool down, and like I said I ussually make time during the day.

    The 4pm works for me, but I could make any of the open times if somone else has a need for the 4pm slot.

There is a Hampton Inn right in the business district of Precott Valley. There are other hotels in PV and Prescott. Rates vary. From the Hampton, there are many restaurants and a sports bar at Buffalo Wings which is walking distance. For Ribeyes there is LefTy's on Hgwy 69, Texas Rodehouse by Gateway Mall, Cattle Co. on Sheldon near downtown Prescott, Outback at Frontier Village, Dry Gulch off Iron Springs, and others. Cottonwood is nice but the ride thru Sedona is tops.

I'll be hanging around the master wrench most of the afternoon. I'm still not clear if it's Big Joes house or at Kewelmetal. Either way, as it gets closer I will arrange to meet up with your group and guide you in. See you on the 20th.

     Thanks for the great info Necktie, looks like the hampton it is. Just gotta finish chipping away at the friggin' 8" thick glacier in front of my garage doors and dig the trailer out with the Kubota and I'll be all set. Mumbling vulgar, made up Al Gore songs to myself for motivation.

     Really looking forward to the trip though!

Kevin, what time is the last spot? 5pm? or later? Jerry usually closes at 5pm. Is he staying open later?

I have told Big Joe that I work straight through, and I guess they are planning to stay open till I am done. As I said though. People need to be at least an hour early for their spot for cool down

I'm as surprised as you are*LOL* Big Joe from Kewlmetal is my host for this one, and he has a very good relationship with these folks. I have no problem sharing what I know with a dealer. It just improves the brand all around
