I personally like my VICTORY lighted up all the time. My 99 LEDs mounted under lip of trunk lid give me obscene amounts of braking lights

i was wondering about this.. i have the 99 leds as well and they are SUPER bright!! i thought if i got the lighted victory trunk light i would just leave it on all the time since it looks likea candle compare to a flash light.. lol
(lighted victory emblem compared to 99led mod).

Blister, the only dealer in So. Cal that STOCKS the darn piece is Brea. The rest want to order it. How the heck can they sell accessories to the impulsive if they don't have them. Just plain dumb!!! In case you are wondering, Brea was out of stock. Had sold 4-5 of them last week. They plan on getting restocked later this week.

Great point Chris. I saw the trunk light kit in my dealer the other day, and guess what......I bought it .... looks pretty schmick. I had no intention of going online to order it, but seeing it in the store, I thought "what the heck" ?.....

While I was there I also got him to check for a Vision passenger backrest from the other Aussie dealers in case one had slipped through the cracks out here in the backwaters..... bugger..... no luck

Interesting that with the brakes applied, the turn signals on the trunk don't work ???

The lights look great on all the bikes.

Side note. People have mentioned putting the mirror on a hinge and that sounds good but I also thought of adding a piece of felt or other soft material to protect it maybe have a Velcro piece at the top? My first one got damaged from stuff bouncing in my trunk.

I have the 4710 installed in my Vision trunk and it only operates the two running lamps there. I connected it through the isolator used to connect my trailer wiring and my Muth signal mirrors. I also used an IBF4 from http://www.comagination.com/bflasher.htm. This flashes the trailer and and trunk lights in unison. I have had no issues with my cruise control. In my installation the 4710 brake output is not used so I could use this to operate the lighted badge.

Hey Jomar, please check out my post about the installation of this trunk emblem in the Tech Reference section. No bending required on the piece. Hope this helps.

Good Morning, I am new to the forum and love the advice given. I too have installed the lighted trunk emblem, however, my dealer said the marker lights on the trunk could not be setup as R, T, B. I see that you have used the Tri-Star XP Module. I looked it up and it says to use the Dual Load Equalizer if the bike doesn't have a variable load turn signal flasher. Can anyone tell me if the equalizer is needed?

Thanks!!
