At speed above 80 or so, I notice that my OEM mirrors are useless…  Too much vibration.

Anyone else have this issue?

Any fixes other than ride slower?

Respectfully

There are 2 screws on the backs of the mirrors you can tighten. You'll need an Allen wrench.

On top of what Highwayman said, some have taken the stick-on wheel weights used to balance tires on a car and put them on the back of the mirrors. I tried this an it helped, but did not make it go away 100%.

My dealer tech installed some 1/4" thick dense foam squares about 1" in diameter around the corners of each mirror...Presto no more vibrations.....

I did basically the same thing.... on my left mirror, as that was the only one with the issue.

Great information. I will be doing this this winter. My mirrors vibrate and blur a highway speed.

Here's the best solution to a non-vibrating mirror at any speed. GET A CAR! It's a motorcycle boys, the all vibrate, especially big V twins.

hdfed, yes, take a look and tighten up the mirrors, that should help you. I've suffered vibration since day one but the mirrors are still useful. I can still make out the cars, and if I'm travel under 80 it's not so bad.

My mirrors did not not move at all until about 27k miles. Then the right one developed a slight vibration. I adjusted the mirror fully to the left then fully right and that helped a lot. There is still very minor vibration at 75mph. I will have try some suggestions in this thread.

The foam pieces work great guys. Once you a get it right the vibration will be all but completely gone, and if you use black foam you really won't even notice it behind the mirrors.
