Hmm there is some thing wrong then with yours. I have had mine and know many other vision owners like myself who had our visions since 2008 and our side lighted badges are still running strong. I would have your local mechanic look at it.

The only time one mine went out was when the dealers mechanic forgot to plug it in after doing some work on it. Almost three and a half years and over 27,000 miles later they still light up every time.

I would hope to think that you did not end up with a bad pair.

There LED lights that should burn for a good 1000 hours. You must have blown a fuse or did something you shouldn't have.

My VV is an 08 with nearly 50K and both badges light every time even after leaving the ignition on accessory till the batery discharged nearly completely at least 3 times. I don't recommend you try this at home, or anywhere else, but they have never fialed, sure can't say the same for the radio.

30k miles on '08, no problems.
The horn is on the same circuit. Check to see if it still works.

Check the connectors, when something electrical was working and now suddenly isn't 99% of the time it's a loose plug or connection, or you somehow got it wet and it's not getting current.
They are LEDS and draw microamps of power, they are like a 13 year old boy, it doesn't take much to get them excited

Left side crapped out on my first '08. Replaced no charge. My current "08 has had no problems with that so far.

My left one just popped right off the bike one night riding home and the light was just dangling bu the wires. It's a 2011 and it was covered under warranty no problem.
