Cometman is surely giving it all he's got !!!

Seriously, was the cost in line with the winged V ?

This was a one off product, so the cost is equal to the design, time, and materials. It was more than the winged V, but I feel the price was fair and totally worth the finished product.

I thought that too, at first. But this works. #1, it fits into the holes from the OEM luggage rack, and #2, with it facing the way it does, when you walk around the bike you can easily read the writing on the disk, and it looks cool seeing it that way. And #3, when I have to back up, I just Scotty to fire up the warp engines....

The trailer should be a Shuttle Craft.

Sorry to be so late to this party!

Tim, I really appreciate the opportunity to work on this for you, it was definitely fun to do and seeing you happy in how it all came together is a good feeling too.

To answer a few questions posted...

Does it function as a rack? Absolutely. It's 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aviation grade structural billet aluminum, and the legs are TIG welded. Strong is to say the least, and the legs themselves as well as the other deck elements allow for easy and plentiful bungee locations.

Why is it on backwards? To utilize the stock mounting holes, it was the only way the design could layout properly and still be easily recognizable as the Enterprise, both for fitment of the front  legs to the engine bodies, as well as the rear legs to the main 'fuselage', and by canting the engines outward it allowed them to sit in just the right spot for good positioning on the legs. To not have to liminate the center tail section of the warp drive, we decided on the front legs longer to allow it to clear the hump on the trunk.

Thanks to all the kind words everyone, and Tim, thanks for the support once again.
