I have knee and hip issues that's been getting worse over the last year but didn't think it was that serious until I dropped my '10 XC. I have come to the realization in order to keep riding, that I will need to go to a trike. I've looked at many sites and they don't offer a trike conversion for the XC. I'm looking for some input without sacrificing my Vic for a GW or HD Trike. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The "CrossBow" is a Vision trike conversion and IS available from almost any dealer. There is no X-Bike trike (yet) that I am aware of

Call Lehman and ask. They seemed willing to convert just about any bike when I was there 2 summers ago.
I am sure after HD pulled their 3 wheeler out of there that there is room for expanding customer needs.
Worse comes to worse they may say 1 is in the works.
They are a really friendly company.

I don't know where you live, but Matt at Central Motorsports in Mt. Pleasant Michigan can convert just about bike to a trike..He is a great guy and has done many HD's, Hondas, etc. He told me that he could convert a Victory to a trike last time I was there....A riding buddy of mine was going to convert his 07 Kingpin Tour, but instead he opted for a really nice 2009 Honda VTX which he now rides....Good Luck...BTW ...I am 72 yrs old and currently ride a Vision, which I love, but have ridden the CanAM Spyder and they are nice!!!!!

I'm in the same boat. Haven't dropped the bike yet, but I've come pretty close more than once. I've managed to save it, but at the cost of severe pain.

You might contact Jim McGurren at Roadsmith Trikes. I know for a fact that they are working on a conversion kit for the Vision. It will incorporate reverse and possibly an extra fuel tank, and it will be a conversion kit that an owner can install on their existing bike. They might be interested in developing a kit for the XC too, if the demand is there. http://www.trikeshop.com/

Another option that I am looking at is retractable landing gear, which gives trike like stability at stops and low speeds, but leaves the bike as a bike when riding. It is available for the Vision right now. The XC should be an easy adaptation for them. I'm leaning towards that option. http://www.landingear.com/ http://www.landingear.com/victory.php $3500<>

Or you could buy my 02 TC on Craig's list in Martinez, Ga. It has about the same baggage storage but smaller engine and 5 speed trans. I was looking around for the conversion kit site for the Victory but have not found it yet.
