cool project, very cool, keep us posted. What are the clamps you are using for the drag bars? Would they fit behind the console on a stock Vision? I want to switch out my bars, and that would be the way to go, allowing the pull back to be adjusted.

I ordered them from Parts Unlimited, I believe they are for a Ducati or a Triumph but I dont think they would fit under the stock console...

I swapped out the Ness Evil-7 wheels on my naked vision with the stock roulette wheels from my cross country and also went to a dry cell battery and shaved off 37lbs. I should be able to run it again in the next few weeks and see if it makes it any faster...

my kind of scales. I could stand on those all day and no worry about weight, couldn't see it anyhow.

Never would have guessed our stock roulette wheels were lighter than billet ones.

Mock up for the Judge Pegs. Between the wheels/tires/battery/pegs I have now taken more than 50lbs off the bike since last October...

I havent had a chance to run it and it will be a few more before I can get the brackets made to finish mounting the pegs. Hopefully less than a month, I am getting withdrawls from not beating on it... ;-)

I would love to see the faces of the people at the track when you show up on it. Cracks me up that you have it running and dragging it.

Is it a stock bike?

Motor is stock at the moment, just the Bassani exhaust. I plan on doing some serious engine work over the next winter. The longer term goal it to beat Vrod Destroyers and still drive it on the street...

I found the seat that I want to mount on it. made by Lowbrocustoms... Its a sand cast aluminum seat so it should match the stock Vision frame...

Had a great weekend! Won first round of Street Fighter and made it into the night show with all the jet cars and having thounsands of people in the stands and red lighted there Still really fun though.

I finally got it on the scales as well. Bike was 580lbs(2 gallons of gas) and 785 with me on it after making a pass(full leathers, boots, all gear and 2 gallons of gas)

Best pass was 11.84@110.4mph Best 60ft was 1.62(I think that might have been off the rear wheel?)

I am impressed with you effort. I realize it's early in the Polaris motorccle game but either Victory or Indian need to find a product that racers can adapt readily to some type of competition for some brand recognition. Everybody whose antbody has a product in some type of competition regardless of what their target market is. It is still true "win on Sunday sell on Monday". Those companies that have started up in recent years failed to get into some form of competition and are now footnotes in motorcycle history. I read that Polaris is going to concentrate Indian products on retro, heavy cruiser, touring products and Victory on modern, sporty, more youthful market. perhaps a productwill come out of this deviation in focus for Victory will yield a product that competitors can adapt to some form of competitio Ma Vic can "race on Sunday, sell on Monday and bring the kind of brand recognition the other motorcycle manufactorers enjoy. Just saying,

Ran it again last night, improved my 60ft and ET numbers. Ran a best of 11.698@111.2mph with a 1.608 60ft. I also ran a 1.597 60ft but then couldn't get my foot back on the peg in time and hit the rev limit real bad and missed 5th gear as well.

Pretty darn impressive. Maybe it's time for some rearsets, or probably the addition of a Pingle air shifter.

I have thought about the air shifter but I prefer to shift it by foot. Maybe someday I'll change my mind about that...

I know what you mean. Rearsets would help a lot, but they are going to be difficult to mount and adjust the linkage unless you strut the rear suspension.

A couple of missed shifts in the final or semi-final rounds will have you turning wrenches

I'm impressed with what you've done already. When you add some ponies to the setup, you're really gonna have trouble getting your foot back up there.
