I know the CC tour has more baggage space and is a great touring machine, but I just like the Vision's style. Plus the adjustable windshield is hard to give up.......

+1 ... There is very little that I don't like about my Vision even after 4years of riding it, but the adjustable windshield is one of my favouirite features. When the time does come to buy a new bike I will look at any choices that are available but, at this point in time, I can't see me trading my Vision for something that did not have my favouirite feature.

Newfie the Honda ST1300 and all of the BMW touring models have the power windshield but they all lack the character and all day comfort of the Vision. Those bikes and the Wing have driver ergonomics bias toying.ward the sport touring styleto t which is great if you're in the average height range or you don't have leg/knee problems. The Vision fits riders from 5'4" to 6'6" as I can personally attest to without add on mods to make them comfortable all day. Those other bikes may have te edge in cornering and ground clearance at the 9-10/10th margin, but for most riders in the age group that ride longrange touring bikes the Visons all day comfort and that power windsheild beats those last 2 tenths in sport handling that the others have over the Vision. Personally I don't do most of my long distance trips on roads like Deals Gap or the Dragons tail. Just sa

I wouldn't mind trying a CCT out, I do like the amount of storage. My only Vision complaint is the passenger area is pretty small. I can't have the backrest in and my wife on at the same time, just no room for her with it. I came from a GoldWing which has a cavernous passenger area compared to the Vision (as well as more storage) but I really love the ride, handling and by far superior comfort the Vision offers over a Wing for example. The CCT appeals to me because of more storage and passenger area but that's about it...

As yet I have not had a go on a cross bike and have wondered if the lighter bike feeling of the CC translates to them not being as stable as a vision in cross winds. The vision being different looking to any other bike does make some of the paint jobs stand out.

Personally I think the truck and the lowers are ugly on the XC Tour...The trunk is too big and sticks out to far and the lowers are too boxey looking....JMHO..As I have ridden both X bikes they are great bikes, but in no way a Vision!!!!

Went to dealership to buy a CCT and left with a VVT. No regrets. Love it. It's everything I never wanted on a motorcycle, and now I don't know how I rode without. Lol

If you ride a lot of 2-up, I would check out the rear seat room on the 2011 or 2012 Vision. My wife hated the 2011 seat and longed for the 2008 seat. It is better after Russell did their work, but still not the same. CCT has way more room for the passenger (IMHO).
