Brighton, TN | I would suspect at or around the five year mark. That seems to be the magic number for end of life products or return on investment. Light redesign to bump the tape a couple of years. |

Peru, IN | While I tend to see the reasoning (from a manufacturers point of view) behind redesigning vehicles (bikes or cages), I hope they don't change much any time soon. If the manufacturer makes big design changes, it means they "might" get some new buyers and increase the OEM parts sales. (If all '08s-'12s are identical, you can interchange parts. Make something different and you HAVE to buy new.) I think the Vision is one sexy beast. I've seen other vehicles "watered down" after a few years of small changes. As soon as I sell my Nomad, I'll be actively looking for a Vision. If Victory makes any significant changes to the looks of the Vision, I might not buy a 2nd. It just looks right the way it is. |

Columbia, SC | I'd be shocked if there ever is. It's so unique, it'd be tough to redesign. Not to mention, victory is loving the success of the cross country, they're more than likely going to let "sleeping dogs" lie and focus more on redesigning that or introducing/redesigning other bikes like the hardball, judge to bring up their success. I think they know the vision is a "love or hate" kind of bike, and any redesigns will be small. Updated transmission, radio, that sorta stuff.
Besides, I would rather own a "one-off" kind of bike, instead of having the "vision" name get attached to a HUGE variety of machines (thinking of the various "goldwings" and how much they've changed over the years, or having almost every kawasaki sportbike have the name "ninja" attached to it, kinda bringing down the ninja name cause it can be associated with almost any time of engine size, seating position, etc.) |

Orlando, FL | No design changes means no re-tooling costs, no new productions costs, and higher profits~ I also allows the company to spread the initial R and D over several years. Harley figgered that one out and that's why they never change much, and only change when they have to. Smart Company~!
SO yea, design changes most likely to be small incremental changes. And no, that doesn't mean bigger saddle bags~ Sorry~~

Sand Rock, AL United States | there will be a redesign of the Vision for 2013, if for no other reason but that I finally bought a Vision!  I don't care. I love this bike and plan to put many 100,000s of miles on it . When it has 200,000 miles on or around the year 2019, I will get a great deal on a redesigned 2013!  |

| i took them ten years to design and get this in production , they arent going change it after 5 years a dealer i talked too told me Vic didnt even get there money back on all the research and design they put into it. |

Oakdale MN | All good points But that is why I bought the Vision when I sold my Electra Glide I really liked that bike but wanted something new and after walking around the HD dealer with a pocket of money planning on buying a new bike nothing was different so I stopped at the Victory dealer sat on a vision drove it bought it. I love it getting to be time for something new?????? |

| Just in case victory need to know what we want if they are going to make a few changes, here are my suggestions
Larger detachable saddlebags.
GPS mount like the BMW 1600 - the windshield locks it in unless the shield is either fully up or down, not sure which.
Gear indicator to display when clutch lever is pulled such as in early transmission models.
Lloyds cams as standard with S1L2 exhaust
Better radio reception.
Bottom of the motor to be flat for more stable lifting.
A mounting for the rear suspension pump.
A plastic weatherproof box where the CB unit is sometimes fitted for additional storage.
An optional electro-pneumatic center stand like some BMW's have. Optional because of the weight and cost.
I love my bike so it would need quiet a bit of improving like what I have listed above for me to change.

they already fixed the radio reception. my 2011 radio presets are all FULL of radio stations where as my 2008 vision i wasnt able to get 1 radio station for more than a few miles then it was gone... plus the radio is louder as well.. |

Honda did the same with the Goldwing. That bike didn't change at all from 2001 through 2010/2011, and they only changed a little of the tupperware for an updated look for 2012, leaving the running gear and the bike itself unchanged. They've been making the same bike for 12 years and they still sell well. They are going to have to come up with an answer to the BMW challenge soon though. Once again.
