I thought it was answered here. It's electronic ignition, no need for a coil wire, just the plug wires.

You would use another bike besides the Vision.

Sorry for the somewhat smart-ass response. Follow the spark plug wires back to the coil pack. There is no coil wire as in coil and distributor but a wire connector is connected to the coil pack that charges the coils and triggers the discharge. The factory per Lloyd has outfitted the Vision with a MSD system that works up to around 2700 RPM so the ignition is pretty advanced.

If your looking for something that needs a reference for like a tach or something, it is the violet and pink wire that sends the power to the coil packs. The white with the green and the white with the black are the individual grounds per coil side. This is from the wiring diagram for an '08. I'll try to post the pic from the diagram. See if you can see the attachment.

My guess... trunk wiring or seat heater, assuming the connector is at the back end of the seat. I am guessing.

If it's the one under the piece in front of the seat, it's an accessory plug. I believe it has power all the time, but don't quote me on that.

Use your test meter to see if power comes on with key.

Break down and tell us what your doing. Many of us have been there before you and give you some good information
