| 2011 vision with 20k on it started pulling to right when brakes were applied front or back or both at same time.
pulling was is to the right. checked pads and replace them .The pulling stop for about 200 to 300 miles then it came back. ABS light is working correct and the ABS seem to work correct. What do you think the problem is?
Is there a way to disconnect the ABS system? Please reply were heading out to fl this coming wk. |

SF Bay Area | I doubt the problem is the brakes nor the ABS. You likely have something wrong like improper axle torqueing, loose tree clamp bolts, worn or loose swingarm bushing/bearings, loose motor mounts, etc. Unless there is some play in your chassis, there seems no way a motorcycle would pull to one side. The only time i had a bike pull to one side when braking was on a single caliper system, the bike needed (and got) a fork brace. Even my single caliper '99 Victory was capable of stopping the front tire at speeds under 30... but the bike skidded straight (scary). |

| Have you put on new front tire? Spacers in wrong? New rear tire and bad belt alignment? |

| rear axle nut isn't torqued down and the axle is moving around. follow alignment procedures in the manual and re-torque the nut to 65 lb/ft |

SF Bay Area | Furthermore, because of the crown in the road, all vehicles in the US tend to pull to the right. It is just the opposite in cuntries that ridenon the left. They put this crown in the road for water drainage.... but most know this already. |

| Front tire has about a 1000 miles on it, Back tire about 3k. Took tire off and check them they look and seem to be ok no out of round or wore one why or the other,no delam or anything. belt is adjust and is running true with right amount of drop. steering has been retorque but seemed alright before. No swing arm play. rear axle torque good ,front wheel space are right.Rotors have right amount run out. Going nuts here. I will find the cause will keep you fellows posted. Does anyone think it could be dyno beads in tires?
Just a thought but I also posted this on The Vog. net ,not one reply..

| Doughy its the beads just cause of thousands of riders using them.
What you might have is a bad left break. Slid a peace of paper between rotor and pads on both sides and have some one hold the break down and see if you can pull paper out. Heck check both sides. Wish I could think of something beside paper something that is strong so you could pull hard.
There could be bad o-rings in the caliper |

New Bohemia, VA | Trell the only place it could be is in your front forks, so far not mentioned. If it is not there, then you need to have the dealer do a once over, the only other thing beyond that in my mind is the frame bolts, but it would feel out the way all of the time. The front forks may not be set properly or one has failed. Just a thought since I can't see the problem from here. By the way, what is the Vo... never mind...

scotts valley, California | Hi, all, it has been a long time since I have posted on this forem or ridden at all for that matter (age, health, balance, all that crap). I have half heartedly tried to sell the bike to no avail. Anyway today I took it out for a little ride to keep the battery up and interior parts lubricated. The rear wheel brakes had no effect on the first press, pumping them a few times brought minor results, but far from acceptable. Fortunately the front wheel brake worked well. Back in the days of my jalopy driving, this meant low brake fluid level. Adding fluid usually did the trick. When I got home today I found that I don't even know where to check rear wheel brake fluid level on my 2008 Vision. Is it the same reservoir as the front wheel brakes??? ADVICE PLEASE... |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | The rear brake master cylinder reservoir is down by you right foot, just inside the front cowling. You access it from the front of the bike.

It so with flashlight look at the caliper pistons and see if both side positions are out the same. One side might be hanging up |

Perry Hall, MD | I know the original post said it was pulling when using either front or rear brake, but is it just the right front caliper that is activated proportionally when using the rear brake? If so, I would consider checking/bleeding rear brake (follow manual for correct procedure). Possibly a much easier fix than going into the tree. |
