I will be getting a Vision in the shop in the next few weeks to create new parts. Some of the things that we have started but never finished were handlebars, one piece front fender and some luggage racks. Something I am not interested in is mirrors, seats or passenger arm rests. I tried the arm rests awhile back and couldn't figure out anything that actually worked any better than Victory ones.

I'd like to get some ideas as to what you guys would possibly like to see. I'm not reinventing body panels or wiring type stuff but more bolt on type stuff. I know most Vision riders are not "bling" guys but more "functional" guys. Sooo please give me some ideas. I may pick some and run some ideas back and forth with you guys to get your thoughts.

Thanks
DR

First don't do mirrors. Dennis Kirk has over 400 in there selection and J P is right there to. Round shift linkage rod with tapered locking nuts. Chrome or Black 02 sensor covers. Ones that slid on and locking screw holds them. A universal GPS mount for center conceal. Chrome or Black flat washers with flat head allen for handlebar ends. You know those 4 wheel jacks that you roll under bikes to jack up. Larger shark fin. You know they don't quite match up right for the front. So machine some for front an back so jack fits correctly. You could turn all your how to do videos into CD's with a list of tools Chrome trim ring for around front fork orange reflector. If you use any of my ideas I would like a small part in return. A chrome clutch arm pivot cover.

Round shift linkage rod with tapered locking nuts. PROBABLY WILL NOT DO THAT. WE HAVE A BUNCH OF STYLES NOW THAT SELL REALLY WELL.

Chrome or Black 02 sensor covers. ON THE DRAWING BOARD ALREADY

A universal GPS mount for center conceal. PROBABLY NOT

Chrome or Black flat washers with flat head allen for handlebar ends. WHAT IS THERE NOW?

You know those 4 wheel jacks that you roll under bikes to jack up. Larger shark fin. You know they don't quite match up right for the front. SHARK FIN- YOU LOST ME?

You could turn all your how to do videos into CD's with a list of tools I MAY DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD WHAT YOU NEED FROM THE WEBSITE

Chrome trim ring for around front fork orange reflector. WE HAVE FORK PIECES THAT REPLACE THE REFLECTOR. THEY KIND OF GO DOWN THE SIDE OF THE FORK. ON THE DRAWING BOARD

If you use any of my ideas I would like a small part in return. YES SIR!

A chrome clutch arm pivot cover. WE ALREADY HAVE 21 DIFFERENT STYLE CLUTCH ARM COVERS.

Some of our guys REALLY need some trim to cover up the fact they they have CT's mounted on something that only has 2 wheels. Maybe some kind of fender extension that hides the back tire, or something really garish that draws real bikers attention away from the 'wrongness' of the look  - you know what I'm thinkin'  ....

To be honest- I think Strokers makes something like that already. You may want to check there first.

I'm assuming you meant passenger? If so that's already in the works.

# 1  How about some type of ABS or plastic cover that would cover the battery area in the front, the rear brake master cylinder and it's wiring. Just to clean up the look behind the front wheel and keep the battery area clean.  # 2 Perhaps a scoop type ABS or plastic cover that would go behind the oil cooler and force the heated air down and exit out the bottom. This would eliminate all the heat from the left side in the summer and It could be removed in the winter months.  # 3  A quick release rear rack and passenger backrest when the trunk is removed.      Thanks Denny

For the trunk, chrome spoiler that will be able to hold flag mounts if we dont want to go the whole baggage rack. Something clean, low profile that breaks up the line of the passenger seat hump..

Ha! Well... maybe that would be helpful in close quarters maneuvering. However; my intent is being able to spot the Maryland State Troopers whom seem to materialize out of nowhere and get behind me.

I was thinking you could offer a stud/wing nut kit that installs into the bolts that hold the trunk on for a sort of quick removal system. The studs could have a torx fitting on the end to install tightly then 4 washers and the wing nuts to tighten down and secure the trunk, maybe go as far as having a hole drilled though the stud for a pin for extra security. Sell the kit will a wall mount for the trunk to make it cost effective.

# 3 A quick release rear rack and passenger backrest when the trunk is removed. RACKS ARE BEING MADE. ALREADY HAVE A BACKREST.

Thanks for asking Witchdoctor! Also thanks for looking into these ideas! I just thought of 2 more things. # 1 The 5 special spacer bolts,  that hold the windshield on, would be great if they were available in black, they would look a lot better for everyone that has a tinted windshield. # 2  I have been thinking about a pouch to fit under the plastic bottom door in the trunk. There is a neck of a lot of space between the top and the bottom where the you bolt the trunk to the bike. You could utilize that area and put many things in there. Ideally a solid plastic box,(like a glove box)  could be Velcroed in, or perhaps It could be made out of Naugahyde or some water resistant material and be Velcroed in, that way it could easily be removed to access the trunk bolts if needed.  Thanks much appreciated!   Denny
