My front left fork is leaking. I have 44k miles /3 years on her, and have never changed the fork oil.

The question is how safe is it to drive? Should I park it until I get it fixed? Or is it ok to drive, but needs to be taken care of soon?
And what will I notice as far as degraded performance?

The front end will be more willing to dive under braking, and you may get some oscillation or up and down motion when you go over a bump. It's not unlike a car with bad shocks.
You will definitely want to rebuild both fork legs when you get in there, but like diamondbird said ride with caution.

Not good to ride have dealer get seals or go to witch doctor and order some.
If you can pull forks deal should be able to replace with new fluid in a hour

Had one start leaking on my TC on a return trip. Small seep I noticed 2 fuel stops before home. Made it, went to run an errand before tearing it sown and made a stop and it went. I took my forks into dealer, parts were under 30 and think the whole thing was 140.

After the ride on the Dalton Highway both of my fork seals were leaking so I replaced the seals, bushings and fluid.

Thanks guys. Today dealer verified seals bad. He will fix next week (under warranty), but says I can drive until then. Will take it veeeerrrry easy this week - with HandyHiker's wobble accident ringing in my head
