My 08 Vision had at least an inch of play in the handlebars. Following TXVision's tricks I was able to replace the upper and lower bushings. A bit of a challenge to torque. Rock solid now.

Many thanks to TXVision

I'm planning on replacing the handlebars for aftermarket this winter. I have a '12 and it will have less than 10k miles when I swap out the bars. Any reason I should (or should not) replace the bushings while I'm at it? How long do they normally last?

If you had a chance to compare the old bushings with the new, were they physically worn or were the bolts loose? (torque issue)
