when shifting into 2nd gear it goes in good then when power on it skips and seem to go on. This only happens in the up shift mode. It's kinda like hitting a power band in a sport bike. It seem to always do this in a curve and only sometimes in the straight away. the tranny shifts well In all gears with no grinding or any noise issues.2011 vision 29k 3 yrs left on warranty. I thought it was the drive belt slipping but that's not the case. Could be a broken tooth I guess in the 2nd gear tranny. Hope to have explained the problem ok..

Trell, are you using a semi-syn oil or a full syn? Not to debate anything, I had slippage, slight slippage around the 98,000 mile mark. I was using a full syn and switch back to a semi-syn blend and it tightened up soon after. Just a thought and recommendation. If you are slipping like I think you are, I can agree with JV, time for a new clutch.

Could be the shifting forks wearing unevenly. I had an FJ years ago that would run fine in 2nd, but if you nailed the throttle it would jump out of gear momentarily.

Nope its your clutch. Before you give the dealer your bike to fix ask them to order parts then bring it in
