The dashboard on my 08 Vision is rattling like crazy. It's not coming from the gauge bezel, but from the dashboard itself.

I tightened the 2 screws that are visible, but it didn't help. I haven't been able to spend any time to figure it out, I am hoping all I have to do is tighten some screws.
Anyone else ever have this problem, how did you fix it?

Thanks, Ron

YOU BET! On my 08 and my 2011 Crossbow. Much more apparent on the 08. I just put some material under the bezel to stop the vibration and that works fine for me. Maybe someone has a better long term fix?

pull the gage bezel there are 2 screws under it the are 2 at the end of the dash. Pull panel in front of the seat.
Open glove box and there is a small screw in there

There are more screws but you would have to pull the complete dash

I may have to put some cushioning material on mine. I had some of my dash off and I tightened down the screws good. The rattle was gone for about 3 weeks, now it's back again.

The area that is rattling on my bike is the area under the windshield, where you would put your dash bag. Not the gauge area, or gauge bezel.

I took it apart this evening.
What I did was, raise the windshield all the way up.
Remove the aluminum cowling.
Remove the 2 outer screws holding down the dashboard.
Remove the 4 plastic "screws" located down low, near the headlight and remove the plastic pieces that they are holding down.
Remove the 2 screws that are under the plastic pieces.
The dash is actually 2 pieces that snap together.
I pried apart the two pieces very carefully with a plastic pry tool.
I put a thin piece of foam tape, like what you put under a truck canopy, or put on a door jamb, between the 2 pieces and snapped them back together.
I will find out if it worked or not on my ride to work in the AM.

Hopefully this post isn't too misleading and it helps someone else out that has this same problem, the whole process took me maybe 1/2 hr.

I believe that piece (the area on the cowl facing you) will snap on very tightly. It does on my 08 anyway.
