I ordered a set of these Kuryakyn 7513 LED lights. They mount to the backside of the mirror on a goldwing GL1800 mirror. A friend of mine had mounted a set on his ST1300 with slight modification.

Just an FYI for anyone else who may have seen these and wondered if they would fit.

They do not and I don't think modifying them would work well either. Our mirror backs are curved under to fit in the dished opening. There isn't much room in there especially if the mirrors are tipped out for better viewing.

I saw someone here in the forum that had mounted a small single amber LED in the top outside corner of the fairing next to the mirror. Anyone know who that is and/or what LED was used for clearance in that small space?
