Lewisville, TX United States | I have an '09 Vision. One of the mirrors has loosened up and is now rattling quite a bit. Is there a way to tighten the mirror? I took the top portion of the fairing off to try and get to it, but found one bolt and it was tight. Any other thoughts? Dealer told me to stuff some foam rubber between the mirror and trim to tighten the area up and stop the vibration. Not sure that is the answer!!

| right where the V panel snaps into the rubber grommets there is a silver button head allen #6 I think check that for being tight.
Yes it doesn't take much foam behind mirror to stop the vibration |

Victoria Tx, TX United States | Another Vision rider an engineer put static wheel weights behind the mirror and it stop vibrating. I do not know how much weight he used thou. |

D/FW, TX | Here's what I did:
Remove the top windshield panel.
The mirror assembly is held with an allen head bolt on top and a metric head bolt in the rear. Here was my problem-the metric head tapered bolt is too long, even if I got it tight-it still was not enough.
I removed the mirror assembly and sprayed some Teflon wax lube on the mirror ball (it only moves right/left). The mirrors seemed frozen to the ball until the lube worked in.
I placed a lock washer between 2 flat washers on the metric head bolt when I replaced the mirror assembly (or you could use smaller bolts).
Mirrors are vibration free now.
