Used to cover 4 nursing homes in ND as long as the roads were clear I road my Kingpin coldest I ever road was 9 in the morning but it would get to the 50 during the day. I wish I had the Vision then. The warmest temp I ever road is in Bullhead City AZ its a short commute but the temp gauge just flashes 125. We have gone out riding in the AM at 107 and when we come back the last 10 miles are over 120. I have a coolvest but anything over 110 sucks

I made the mistake of riding from Phoenix to Riverside, Ca to visit brother and my niece and nephew once this past summer leaving at 3pm, which is the peak of the heat, but couldn't get out of work earlier and already committed myself. Average temp on the road was 113. I packed five one liter Frozen Costco bottles on the bike, including one bottle shoved on each side of the passenger seat. By the time I rolled into Blythe, Ca (Halfway point) I was dragging absolute ars making the mistake of thinking it was going to cool off, but still well over 100 degrees through Palm Springs. Even though door to door was only 370 miles I felt I did an IBA run, Hahaha ( vs feeling like an absolute chump). Victoria did fine with cruise set at 80 and not so much as an abnormal fart from the tail pipe. Needless to say coming home I was on the road by 5am, but dealing with fog at that point. Nothing worse then being tore up from extreme heat. Id take those 40 degree days as opposed to the 110s any day of the week. In the winters here we fly south and in the summer we fly north to beat the heat.

I once rode in weather so cold the exhaust froze as it came out the tailpipe, fell out on the road and rolled into the ditch. In the Spring it made a heck of a racket when it thawed.

Now that's funny.
