looking ahead and Victory's new bike track record design philosophy, the writing is on the wall for the next new victory platform. The design team is probably going to jump on the big rim front end craze. check out the spy photo 😃

Warm up this weekend but still no riding weather in sight

Back to the topic at hand, I actually think the 20+ front wheels look really slick on the Vision! The front wheel and fender is one spot I would upgrade in a heartbeat but concerned about potential negative effects on handling...

Expound please; upon the suspected negative potential for handling. I am curious. Is it because of the larger gyroscopic effect of the front wheel?

The concerns I have are with potential changes in the geometry of the front end (rake/trail). This would be avoided as long as the overall diameter remains the same as the OEM setup; easier said than done. The Vision is long enough as is, need to avoid any chopper front ends!

I am also taking care (if I opt for this) to find a tire with the same width as OEM again to make the change transparent from a handling standpoint.

Similar to the pic Arkainzeye posted above... Clean and IMHO dresses up the front of the Vision. I can't quite put my finger on it but the front of the Vision seems "stodgy" and fat. This is one of the few areas I'd tweak, along with the impossible updates to the saddle bags...

His pic is a little more extreme than what I'd do, but not by much...

This isn't a big wheel, this is a BIG wheel, and yes, it is Hemi powered.

Arkainzeye, thank you for sharing the photo of my bike. I own the Vision in the picture above. Many of you are asking "why?" my response, "because it's never been done before." i know someone will come along and do it different and maybe even bigger, but I wanted something unique, for me.

I admit, I was a little worried about the slow speed handling before we test rode the bike with the 26" wheel on it. I can tell you it handles way better than any of the big wheel XC's out there. the 37 degree rake on my bike allows for a much smaller turning radius than the 45 degree XC's. My bike had a 21" wheel with 8 degree trees before this conversion, and it rides smoother than ever now on the highway. I haven't yet found an uncomfortable lean angle.
