another example my vision (2011) was labeled as having a 100,000 mile transmission and i read all these claims on how new and improved it is etc etc .. the very next year they figure they messed up on the torque compensator and they have revised parts for that... so the transmission they bragged big time about they went Ops we were wrong on a few things.. now i fulling understand .. things evolve and improve. but that newly revised transmission didnt even make it one full model year and it had to be Corrected again.... .
At least the engine case doesn't need to be split, if the Torque Compensator goes tits up:
So there is the propensity for failure of the 2011 tranny, or what? First time I heard about issues with the torque compensator of the 2011. Guess I need to Google a bit...

thanks for the photos. i already looked into it. its about $200 in parts.. From what i read if you dont do anything with it, it doesnt hurt anything.. it just makes your scooter sound like a bucket of bolts... |

google it... or look at the microfiche of a 2011 trany and then do the same for a 2012... BOOM.. there you have it.. revised parts on a 1 year old "Already revised" transmission..
