I just installed Witchdoctor baffled mufflers on my 2013 Vision.  I absolutely love the sound of them and it seems to have more power. My question sis the occasional backfires. During cold engine start and sometimes during shifting I get a backfire...is this normal?  I have no other mods to my bike.

yes Vic's pop when shifting.
Try this when you shift do a milled speed shift where you don't close the throttle all the way. We have a Idle Air Valve and it does not respond well with pipes that are not stock. Lloydz sells adjustable IAV that helps preventing the pop.
All so check your exhaust flange bolts they might be a little loose. Take a ride and when you get home check them again. It might take two or three times to get them tight.
Do Not over tighten them they can break if your strong

Your ECM needs to be flashed!! This will minimise the pop.. But Victory Pops..

I have a stock 2013 Victory Vision with 5K miles and am considering this setup.
I have read here that with stock exhaust muffler this set up would work okay if the O2 sensor is disconnected.
I am not sure if the WD Muscle Baffled muffler would need a PCV and dyno tuning.
Any recommendations are appreciated.

I have a question. Did you have to buy that $125.00 special tool to get your old exhaust off? If you know of a better way than spending $125.00 for a tool I will only use once, I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks,

I used a strap wrench and a rubber mallet to remove my old mufflers. With a lot of elbow grease and swearing.

The PCV isn't required with WDs voodoo exhaust. You probably should have the ECM flashed though. Regarding the CO2 sensors, do not unplug them if all you've done is changed out the exhaust. If you install a PCV, at that point you should unplug the sensors otherwise the bike's ECM is in control and not the PCV.
