Subject: Trunk Light

Has anyone modified the trunk light so it will go off when the key is turned off? I have run down my battery 2x because of over stuffing the top trunk and it not closing all the way.

If you have done the mod, any info would be appreciated.

I think that most on here would tell you that they don't leave the light on and trust the trunk switch to turn it off, that they turn the light on and off manually when they actually need it. At least that's what I do.

Small slide switch next to the light if I remember correctly.

Same here. I started leaving it in the OFF position until needed, after running the battery down once. Problem solved.
