Had my digital guy do this: pics of fairing with blackened signal lights, bolt covers, brake and shift levers.

Perhaps you should spend a little more time riding than on line. If pictures interest you....go to the gallery and enjoy!

Havnfn - In the pictures it looks like the application makes the lenses look almost powder coated? Can you see through them? Is that the same stuff Corey Ness used on his custom Vision? The name of it again? Thanks for the pics?

They probably look like that as I put a few coats of clear to totally protect the lenses. I certainly don't want to do this again. A lot of prep work in protecting the bike from overspray. It's VHT Night Shades. The signal light show thru fine, albeit diminished somewhat, but still doing the job they were intended to. Thanks.

Did you take the lenses off or did you just mask real good? It lookes great. I ordered a black tour, I think the look would would enhance the black.

Looks good!!! How many coats did you end up doing? Then, of course, we're gonna bug ya for more pics. First, could we see it with the lights on, then with the turn signals on. Video might be easier for capturing the turn signal, as it can be a pain trying to catch the flash. Finally, let's see a wider shot with more of the bike visable and with it out in the daylight.

I probably put four coats on the lenses until the dark orange color was gone and five coats of clear for protection. Not having any source for service manual yet, I did a major taping, masking and protecting job on the bike.
