I installed the top filter today. Tried to install Power Commander but gave up trying to get the injector plugs off. What a pain in the ARS. Road to work and the rear cylinder pipe was red after 35 mile ride. Is this normal? I would say prolly not. Running lean maybe. I did not unplug the o2. Should I unplug them before heading home after work? I am getting the bike dyno tuned by Rylan Vos at the The Vic Shop June 9th.

I'm not a mechanic but I've read enough on this forum to know that with the addional air flow your vision is probably running very lean. I wouldn't run it without disconnecting the O2 sensors. Take a look at your plugs. Have the PC installed and dynotuned by a professional. My 2 cents......

Thats the plan. I guess I will ride it home and pray it dont melt down. I unplugged the o2 sensors at lunch maybe that will help.

Even properly tuned. The rear pipe will glow pretty healthy. Thin pipe with a radical bend right out of the port.

So bright red is normal ? The rear pipe is discolored now. Bike ran great with the filter in !
