Prairie City, IA United States | I am trying to figure out the best place on the Vision to install a set of driving lights. I was think about using the shipping bolt hole on the front tip overs but in laying the bike on it's side, I am afraid I might break them off. I want to try to get the triangle light effect if possible. Any pictures would be appreciated.
A friend of mine has the ADV Monster lights on his CCT and they are really nice lights that are really, really bright. I got a remote control with them to dim them down.

I originally was going to mount them on my wife's CR but she got rear ended in an accident couple weeks ago and I am pretty sure the bike will be totaled. |

Central Maryland | Not that it's going to help you with a location on the Vision, but I have the ADV Monster M30 LED's mounted on my Triumph Rocket and my DR650. These are GREAT lights for the price! Very powerful.
I am most interested for mounting points on the Vision myself; for these type lights.

New Bohemia, VA | I removed my upper flippers and tried to install lights there. They worked, but not very bright so I took them off. This seems to be more what I need so I might give it another shot. I used a bracket that offset the light so it would clear the faring. Using the swivel for the uppers also allow side adjustment, which is what I was going for. |

flagstaff, AZ | I mounted my Model 60's on the front fender using the existing bolt and accompanying bracket. been there 2 years now.

Did you use the same bolt? If so it is a shoulder bolt and how did you work around that?
Do you have them dimmer remote? If you do, where did you mount the control box? I doesn't look like it is real weather proof. |

flagstaff, AZ | yes, I used the same bolt. I used a rubber backed washer as a spacer.
I mounted the remote dimmer inside the fairing just above the horn. haven't had any issues yet.

South-Central, PA United States | On the very bottom of the forks are a couple M6 holes. I fabbed a couple brackets that bolt to them, and mounted my lights there. Added another light switch in the blank spot in the dash. Only downside I've found is that I have to remove the lights to pull the front wheel. |
