I removed the left rear view mirror a week or so ago thinking I needed it off to access the hardware on my front turn lenses that I was replacing. Turns out I did'nt need to remove it at all. But now during moderate to heavy accelleration the left mirror vibrates so bad it's almost unusable. Where as the right side is very steady. I have loosened both of the attach bolts and re-tightened. This was no help. Any one had to deal with this before? I'm thinking of leaving either the top screw or the rear bolt a little loose thinking mabey that they are too tight. Any thoughts?

The top bolt in the corner can be tight however the bolt in the back center of the mirror should be a 1/4 turn loose.

had same issue, give this a shot, worked for me. installed 2 rows of 3 of .5 oz wheel weights on back of mirror at 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock position (3 in a row using its adhesive backing, the 12 row runs east west, the 3 row runs north and south. Also took some 1" thick door weather weather stripping and used it adhesive to secure to the back of the mirror, basically outline the mirror 1" inside of the outer edge. This will get wedged in there as u install and your mirror back in, just barley, I can still adjust mirror just fine. Vibration is 99% better. good luck
