? for all that own the 2720 or the2820........with this set up does the voice prompts overide your music...or are you bound to just be listening for when the gps next directions come?

Next ? for same models ..can you down load a pecific route of your choice from your pc .....this i can do now with my garmin quest...IO mark way points on the roads every so often then down load the route to it....or now my wifes garmin for her car you are only able to enter a point a interest or addys then follow the choosen route....

Just wanting to know as I have found a 2720 for 179.00 and a 2820 for 489.00 and
may be dealin on an 09 vision the next couple a days..thanks

You can find great deals on e-bay and craigs list for used 2720'2. The unit is a Garmin product, so you can download and set waypoints.
You can set the volume independently on the Garmin for how much you want it to override the volume of your stereo.

I just bought a refurbished 2720 off of EBay for $130.00 and it is on the way. I understand that with the Victory Mount comes the cable to hook it up and it will interrupt the Radio if you choose for it to. Should be here any day and I will see.

yes, it does 'mute' the music and give directions through the vision speakers. And yes, you can upload waypoint, etc. into the 2720 via your PC. I set up all the routes from Colorado Springs to the AVR and back, and it proved quite useful.

I bought the 2720 off Ebay for $116. I use the padded mount that came with the unit and sit it on the dashboard under the windshield when I use it. I bought a converter for the plug and wad the cable up and place it in the glove box on the left side. I found this weekend that I could take it off the windshield and hand it to my rider and she could look places up while I was driving. That came in very handy this weekend...

I tried to do that but I found I had to the windshielf "up" in order for it to fit. Do you just leave yours up?
