From what I saw on nightly news there will be only 3 states that can ride. FL will be down to 60 and New Orleans will be down to 29 and it sounds like it will last the rest of the month

Guess I'm a 3 percenter. Riding to work again tomorrow as usual. It has been in the lower 20'sF the last couple of mornings. Rode home today in a light snow fall. I've been lucky that it hasn't really snowed here.

In New Orleans it will be 36 and unless we get ice or snow, which is extremely rare, I will ride year round.

Yah, I'm 'nother 3%'r... will ride in the 40's (to commute) for the next coupla days!
It rained here in NorCal yesterday so I didn't ride.
My VVs a glossy black and wipin' 'er down after rains 'n ridin' tends to kink my back... so I wait.

But, aside from the rain it's a year 'round putt in these parts.

Not sure what you're talking about but I'll be riding here in Virginia. It's supposed to get down 24 tonight and even snowing early today.

Here in Virginia Beach I ride year round unless it snows or there is ice out there. Last winter was bad. lots of the white stuff. Hoping this year is better. I put more miles on my Vision than I do on my truck. Long Johns, extra socks, good jacket, scarf, gloves and Vision. Lets ride.

Well... sad to read that a lot of you can't ride, I know why: cold weather. I am in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico) so it's 365 days a year riding unless it rains or there is hurricane around. The worst "winter" here ever is around in the 40's and that is probably by 3am and at that time I am sleeping, during the day is probably mid 70's to low 90's in winter.
So while my new Vision arrives from her cruise (currently on the ship from Jacksonville) I continue riding my other Fat Ass Valkyrie. Let's ride!

I ride year round unless it snows or there is ice out there as well. Also; if SALT has been spread... I will put the bikes up until the spring rains have washed most of it away. That stuff will do a number (corrosion) on the various fittings and bits on a motorcycle. And the way that they spread it here in Maryland... is way overkill.

I ride year round too , like the other riders , I don't knowingly ride on ice . I'm on mine 6-7 days a week 12 months a year. last year I rode in 4 degrees F. this morning it was 24, I didn't even have my electrics on.

Another 3%er here. I ride down to about 20F unless the roads have snow or ice. Overnight tonight is predicted to be at 15 so I may skip the morning ride tomorrow but no way the rest of the month.

Ice, snow or too much salt left on the road will keep the bike in the garage otherwise I'm riding year round.

WOW - We're excited !!!! On the coast of BC this is THE BEST Motorcycling weather in the year! We're off ..... (oh - we have heated seat, heated handgrips, heated vests, heated chaps, heated tempers, heated engine, sunshine, and above zero C  temperatures!!!) plus no insects or other airborne slime to contend with.

Best riding of the YEAR !!!  Rarely go more than a week without riding and it's better for the bike.

Another 3%er here. I've missed 3 months in the last 11 years. Once for hand surgery, and last year was foot surgery. I had both surgeries during December

Well I definitely riding less this time of year. In Upstate NY I will usually make it to beginning of December and then put her away. Don't have a garage myself, so I have to store her at JJ's Motorcycle shop. Otherwise, I would have her on standby for opportune time of decent weather. Decent weather to me is mid 20s and no ice or snow. That is without heated gear too

I ride 12 months/year to work daily and average anywhere between 12-15K miles per year, which is not hard to do in Arizona. The kicker is the summer heat. It was a nice and brisk 119 degrees a few months back

You can always bundle up, throw on the jacket warmer, turn on heated grips/seat, but what are you supposed to do when it's that hot? Put on the board shorts and flip flops?

When I had the 9-5 I was a 3% for sure, the boss looked at me one morning and told me I was nuts since the weather was in the low 20's. My response "roll up the window turn on the heaters and ride. No problem!" Now I work with the wife, and find myself carting kids with me when I leave the house and I haven't figured out how to attach a car seat in such a way that the authorities (wife included) won't frown . Otherwise I'll ride everyday in NM.

Snow and ice put me in the 97% for past 2 days. Looks like I can shift back to 3% in another day or two. There is no snow in this week's forecast.

Still a 3%er here. I took the bike out to supper this evening. The dash display on my Vision was 28F in both directions. I did see several folks in the restaurant with HD apparel but mine was the only bike in the parking lot. What is wrong with those people?
