Subject: Quick HELP belt tension!

Ok wife and I are scheduled to leave in the morn on a overnight trip 330 miles away.....was just out gettin ready .....I know belt tension is suppose to be read wheel off ground ....but I noticed some slop while parked what type a tension should this have on the ground...should slop be thierover an inch??? need answer tonight please!!!

Even if someone can go out and tell me how much tension ya got right now with the bike sittin would help....

My dealer told me that the Vision's belt is normally supposed to be a bit looser than other Victory models, so I think you'll be just fine even though it looks a bit loose. I did just check mine while it is on the side stand and there is less than a 1/2" of play while it's sitting on the ground. By what he told me, I'm thinking mine might be a little too tight.

About an inch of play while on side stand has been my experience- a bit tighter is common. 'Taught' while on stand is too tight, though.

on the side stand it will be loose an inch or so, if you tighten it to the spec in the supplement to the manual you are going to have some noise. the noise is the belt singing (hahaha) like a guitar string according to the dealer.

You are fine with the belt tension.
Just like everyone else is saying.
The Vision runs the loosest of all the Victory Bikes.
