About your dash bag. It has scratched my windshield pretty badly, and I was wondering if you had any thoughts of putting the zipper on the 'front' of the bag vs the 'top'. If the zipper was in the front, facing the driver, it would be less likely to rub the windshield when it's all the way down.

My thoughts

'08 Vision Tour in Maine. Still too much snow!! Grrrrr

Witchbiker - Probably a day late and a dollar short if your shield is scratched - but the first thing I did when I got my bag was put heat shrink over the zipper pulls. Now I randomly get lines on my shield that look like scratches - but they are only rub marks and come right out with my cleaner and a rag.

You can also mount the bag just a bit closer to the rider. That will leave enough clearance so the zippers do not touch the windshield.
The bag is stiff enough that a bit hanging over the dash is no problem.

I didn't have any issues with the bag touching the zippers. I also moved my zippers from center over to one side... if that helps
