Talking about gas caps.
Where can I find a chrome one for my Vision? Someday, I may forget to close my gas hole and I want my hole to look cool!

Oh yeah, need one with an arrow just in case I forget how to find big hole.
Ihave seen them. It's just a standard automotive gas cap, and I have seen them in chrome.

cjnoho - 2008-10-11 5:32 PM Dont forget to change the halogen gas in your headlights at the 10k service.

There's one I think the dealer forgot. It seems to dim a little when I'm in a hard right bank coming off the interstate. I think that is from low pressure though, that'll be fixed when they recharge. I hope I don't have a slow leak.

budnbud - 2008-10-11 4:48 PM Any body got a part # for the muffler bearings and flex pipe?

Here you go.  These muffler bearings at KaleCoAuto should do the trick:

http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10

Here's their description:  Do you have an annoying rattling in your mufflers? Are they sagging a little? Don't quite sound right? That could be the symptoms of a worn muffler bearing. Allow me to introduce the KaleCoAuto muffler bearing! It's unique iron-graphite composite with pre-grease-packed assembly provides over 200,000 miles of smooth muffler operation! It is most likely they will outlast your mufflers. Also works well on heavy duty exhaust systems. One per muffler.

As opposed to Buckeye, I find the Forum humor makes me SMILE. Almost as much as riding my Vis IMHO

BUCKEYE - 2008-10-10 6:34 PM This is the reason I quit this site....idiots

What? Are you talking about this rhetoric CHL? Buckey ain't quite no site he's just got other priorities at the moment.

BTW if you ain't doing anything with those fishnets, you know the ones for the Vision that goes in the saddle doors, would you want to part with them? You can PM if you want. I've been thinking of getting some.

Laugh all you want, but the old Mitsubishi 3000GT had muffler bearings for its tunable exhaust system. I think there was at least one other Jap car that had them, too.

Now y'all have to find some other goofy made-up part to send newbies and idiots after.

NEWBIES! If you only knew the BUCKeyE (or BUccN8kd, as I refer to him as). He is the instigator, if the guy could somehow coordinate his thoughts he would probably be a good comic. But then again, Marines are a tough bunch, so this here is no laughing matter.

I was always taught you needed elbow grease for most things. I'll be dang in all these Years and I've yet to find any. I got a remote though!@

can i switch the halogen gas to argon. works in windows so i'm thinking a headlight is just a reverse wndow. will it work? i need an answer soon. i'd try krypton but i'd have to ride without the superman suit under my leathers.
