Fountain Inn, SC United States | As an experiment I gutted the stock Vision pipes so that they are empty inside - basically a straight pipe with stock tips. While it sounds great, I've noticed I get pinging when accelerating (using 93 octane gas). It also coincides with temps in the 90s. Fuel economy has also increased about 10%. Don't noticed any depreciable loss in torque.
Is the pinging a result of less back pressure or is something else in play? |

| do you have a fuel tuner do you have both air filters.
If you have air filter under the console take it out and put plate back in |
