Here is a pict of the Mrs. outside of ColdSprings Tavern just South of Solvang, CA today.  We had a great day tooling around on the Vision.

This pict also shows the new Chrome from CycleDragon including rear-tip-overs, front forks, rims, pulley and pulley guide.  Their chome jobs are the best I have seen on the Vision to date.

They are both very attractive, the bike and the wife!

I have to ask, what kind of drink holder did you use for her that looks like it is mounted to the right side grab rail?

I want one, the leather grips. where did you get yours TimS? The Vic ones I got are rather lame. The chrome job is great! I like the look.

The Mrs. wanted a drink hoder ASAP before we went to BikerFest in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.  I picked up a Kruzer Kaddy from the local HD dealer and then grounded out the opening to a rectangular shape (square peg in round hole problem).  I then used a piece of wide black leather belt as a gasket to keep the mounting bracket from cutting into the plastic grab rail.  I also put an extra washer in the cup hanger to keep it from swiveling, else the wind would tip the drink.

HTH,

Tim

If you really want leather grips, go to www.ironbraid.com

I have had them in the past. There is nothing better out there anywhere. I have not had time to order a new set of levers for my Vision yet, but have had them on my other bikes.

What David said. The long leather thingy hanging off that that lever thingy on your handle bar thingy. I like the look, but not as long. I've got the ones from Victory, but I'll repeat, they are a little, no a lot LAME. They just don't fit, but that is what they are for. I've got the M/C also, and after seeing yours I wanting to inspire to chromeness. I've not a big chrome person, but I like the looks of the wheels on the Vision.

I bought these as a one-off at a bike rally this year.  They are not a full braided lever cover and fit on more like a get-back whip does.  With the wind control that the Vision has, they hardly move in the wind unlike other bikes where they are constantly flying.  These have silver POW-MIA medallions on them.

Nice Job on the bike and the Babe! Really like the look of the chrome. Especially the wheels. Were they bought or refinished? The forks, are they smooth or do they look cast, with chrome over it. I really like the rotors on another guys wheels where they were black and red. Sharp. Nice Bike! Wife says it don't go any faster with Chrome, I tell her she only needs one purse. Go figure!

Mine didn't gripe about the chrome, she even approves !!  She also HAS MORE THAN 1 PURSE AND PAIR OF SHOES, (more like one of every color, size, shape, brand and model) !!!

Cycle Dragon started a swap-out program.  They bought an extra set of rear-tip-overs, factory rims, pulley and pulley guards.  The have a salt water marine chromer that does a great job.  He polishes them out, gets rid of the rough castings, fills the pits and then triple-chromes them.  The rear-tip overs, forks and rims are very smooth.  Their reworked factory tip-overs and forks look MUCH BETTER than the factory's 2009 chrome rear tip overs and forks.  I have seen a 2009 Aniversary Edition and CycleDragon's chome on the forks and tip-overs beat them hands down.  The factory left the parts rough with the casting and orange peal which doesn't look very good IMHO.

Thanks, are they more or about the same money as the factory. I like the look of the factory rims. Just want them chrome. Good info, I'll go see what I can find out.

I'd be willing to overlook the many accessories she needs for just a few of my own. Then again I overlook almost all of them.
