It looks like it should work. For $11.00 your not out much if it doesn't.

It will fit, but the phone will not face you. If you place this mount of the right handlbar the phone will fact the left handlebar, and vice versa.

RAM mounts are usually the best way to go. It really helps to be familiar with RAM mounts. I have rarely been able to order a "kit" for this sort of thing, but rather purchased the parts via their catalog making my own "kit".

If you are using RAM mounts, the mounts in the link below will screw into the unused mirror holes found in the Victory's clutch and brake reservoirs.

you can either drill your own holes or replace with an '09 or later. There was a video of drilling the holes where they are on the later models, with plenty of room to do it. I've thought of doing for extra mirrors, but never took the time.

so as long as were talking about phones. If you hook phone to the ipod cable does it ring through the speakers or if you're using the map/gps do you get turn by turn thru the speakers?

I know when I used my iPhone 4, I could play Pandora Radio. It seem it is dictated by the sound output of the phone, I think. I don't ever think of using the phone while riding, so I never gave the phone aspect a try.

I'm a rider, I'm just technically challenged and shy away from all the tech talk. I like it simple.

Never "signed up" for the other site and gave up my membership to the "club" because it's the same all around. The only thing I've attached to my bike in the way of electronics was the iPod. I did use the CB for the first couple of years but it became useless. you might check other forums that might have more talk on gadget stuff on a motorcycle, or maybe even facebook. Hope you'll find what you're looking for.

Tried the phone mount last night and while it doesn't directly face me , I am able to use it and pretty happy with it. I will give a more in depth review on my next long trip.

no, you are right. You can't see it in the daylight but using it hasn't been a matter of suicide for me at this point. I will update as to it's usefulness for me after the next trip.

Fortunately I'm not that talented to add anything else I have to look at. I'll keep my phone in my dash organizer charging, or in my pocket to feel it vibrate if I get a call. As far as a gps, I'll map out my destination and double check my landmarks, street view is good for this on more complicated routes, and I never have a problem getting to where I'm going. I tried using a console map with directions, but that was annoying, so I reverted back to nothing. I recheck my routes when I make stops. I reckon using Bluetooth and hearing the turns would be convenient, and that would work without mounting anything.

I don't take calls while riding. And yes, I'm sooo talented. i have always done the same thing Chris. I have always and only used paper maps and my Atlas, with the exception of a sticky note on the dash with my hand written turn by turn . Never had a problem getting where I'm going either. Never needed GPS but it might come in handy on our West trip this year. I'm planning the mother of all West trips. We will be traveling a loop or random zig zag that could include Wyoming, Utah, Colorado (Pikes Peak), Nevada, the California coast, Arizona (Grand Canyon), New Mexico and many filler states you have to ride through to get to the good stuff. It will be many destinations of mammoth proportion . I also like Diners Drive ins and Dives show featuring mom and pop restaurants all over the country we may want to seek out when we are in a related area. So, yeah, on a ride of this scope, I certainly might benefit from electronic navigation in my line of sight. Also handy for nearest campgrounds to my current location so I don't have to reserve ahead, keeping the trip free from too much regimental "have to be here by this time" kind of thing. Victory dealer near where ever I am just in case. The trip will be open ended and could take optional spontaneous turns and destinations. My phone will be charging on this mount unless it's raining.

I use my heads up display for directions. I simply use some dry erase markers and write on my windshield. Certainly helps with the CRS (Can't Remember $hit)
