For the good of all mankind...ok, well maybe just for this elite group of motorcycle connoisseurs...I did it.

Lloyd picked up the Vision a few minutes ago to take it to Hard-On Horsepower Heaven in Pine Bush , NY. The time it spends there will make it possible for all Vision riders to unlock the power that lies in the 106 Freedom Engine.

Let's just say that he chuckled when I asked him if I needed to get the Stage One download done before he picked it up....

I will update thread with info as it becomes available.

Don't feel bad for luzzy, he still has an 04 Vegas in his stable at his disposal, should he feel the need for a ride to the local cantina.

That is a pretty good improvement as the new numbers I am assuming are at the rear wheel and the stock numbers (91.7 hp and 109.2 ft.-lbs of torque) are at the crank. You typically have a 10% to 15% loss from the crank to the rear wheel.

Lloyd is just about finished with the Vision and will have Vision Specific VFC's available this week. Interestingly he noticed that the design of the airbox creates quite a bit of turbulence and actually causes a loss of power. He's already designed a "sleeve/filter" for the Vision to help smooth the airflow as it enters the engine. There's one on my bike already The results are an almost 10% increase in horsepower with the VFC and Filter Mod.

If you want to improve your throttle response,hp,and torque....give him a call and have one shipped out...845-744-4889

I had a dream about Luzzy's bike last night.

He posted a picture of the speedo at 148mph with the cruise control on.

I am concerned about engine heat more than anything. With stock pipes, will the VFC (Vision fuel
control?) & air filter modification give the cylinders more gas (make it richer)? I do not want the
bike any louder.

Could I install myself, or does it take experienced mechanical know how?

Estimated pricing?

Thanks, Herb (o:

I'm running stage one Level One. It sounds just right to me.

I'm think the VFC will be around 300.00 and A call to Lloyd would probably answer the heat question. I know he was going to look at the level one pipes to see if they were affecting performance. I will post some photos and info this weekend...

One of the primary contributors to the heat is the the lean map Victory has to run to maintain emissions requirements. Lloyd has already discussed richening up the mix to decrease temps and improve hp. Surely, the VVFC (Victory Vision Fuel Control) will allow for just that. I'll be ordering mine next week!

Now, where are those level 2 pipes?!?!
