Ruskin, Fl | Put my Vision on the dyno Saturday. I'm running just S1/L1 with tail gunner tips. Had the paper filter in at the time. 13K miles running Mobil 1 full synthetic. Got 85.25 hp and 101.5 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheel. Now I have a baseline if I decide to do cams.

| how much did the dyno cost? I have the smae set up, S1 L1 with tail gunners. I am going to get the cams as soon as they can be delivered |

Ruskin, Fl | $40. The guy has a trailer and is a most big bike nights in the Tampa area. I had it done at the Plant City bike fest, which is the first Saturday of the month. I believe he is based in Lakeland, Fl. Ken's Dyno. Oh, and he takes plastic.

Madison, AL | My dyno after cams, intake, PCM, and Stage 1 LVL 1 exhaust mods. Provided 116HP and 116Trq, similar to most others with same mods.
Cams: $324 + $460 Labor
Dyno $250
PCM $200 (special with dyno combo at dealership)
Intake $80 self install
Stage 1 Level 1 + High flow filter on bike when purchased estimate around $800 parts and labor.
I spent about $1,200 after bike purchase to increase horse power about 37% given the base line you provided.
Heck I've spent much more on other accessories when added together. I GUESSTIMATE Chrome stuff for the engine probably $250, Chrome tag frame $112, Utopia Seat $250, Luggage $200, Solo Tour pack $200, Vision Badge lights $250, XM Radio $500, CB Intercom $700, Fog/driving lights $400, HID Light upgrade $450, I have the Garmin GPS came with bike as part of the deal, Storage liners for bags and trunk, trunk mirror, trunk mat, Wind deflectors, little mirrors on the mirrors so I can see behind me, gremlin bell, XM radio service contract, rear light kit, Cool Victory sunglasses and Helment, and I stopped guessing at the prices because seeing how much I've spent on stuff is making me ill. Having the time of my life everytime I go out for one of the most enjoyable motorcycle rides around, priceless.
Heck I probably missed something. I don't hunt or fish so this is my man hobby that I put money into. Maybe I'll start taking trips with drugs, it might be cheaper but I don't think it would be quite as fun.

O'Neill, Nebraska | Question...does changing the cams void the warranty? I ask this because I believe that adding the Lloyds VFC III does void the warranty and I figure I paid for 5 years....so the cams will have to wait for me.
By the way 116 HP sounds awesome! |

| I had my Lloyds Vision upgrade put in before going to Daytona with the Arlen Ness Big Honkers.
Went to see Lloyd in Daytona, he came up with 111HP/111TQ. |

Tucson, AZ | #57 For just a cam change (with all the goodies) those are some pretty respectable numbers. Its a far cry better than stock which is a far cry better than a stock HD. Man I'm glad I test rode a Vision.......sold, 6 months and 18k miles later, and still smiling....

Ruskin, Fl | Arkainzeye, I pulled the filter to clean it when I was doing an oil change. Put the paper one back in because the mesh on aftermarket one was completely rusted and turned the paper element all brown. I had been riding in alot of heavy rain when I got the bike. Have not done another oil change and forgot about it.

With the intake plate and VFCIII they were coming in at 89HP.
Lloyd said the Big Honkers cost me a couple of HP over the Level 2's.
But who cares, it is a fast bike that sounds dam good.
Actually down here in Fl your numbers are real strong, and I doubt you would see more with the L2 from the several bikes I have done here |
