I'm puzzled. You guys don't see the photos in my post above???

The pictures are linked to a website that requires one to be signed in to view photoes.

I am not a member of that site.

Clarification: these are not my mirrors. I'm just reposting them for you all.

As I understand it, the mirrors are mounted by means of a clip mounted to the bottom of the mirror. It then hooks between the Vision mirror and the silver fairing panel.

Here's a link to how it's mounted and where to buy:

SPCSHP's don't have a wake.....
HD guy asked me where the button was to extend the Wings - told him "even idiots know Spaceships don't have wings" - ticked him off a tad....

Ken
I have ordered mine but have not yet received them is it possible to use some 3M double sided tape to stabilize them or even modify them to be taped on? That 3M tape is pretty stout stuff.

FYI - You shamed me into buying these. Installed them today. As soon as I learn what mirrors do or why I need them, I will report my findings......

OK - So I have been riding with the new mirrors for a while now, and as promised - here is my opinion:
Too much vibration for them to be worth the cost and effort. Also, they cause too much brain activity - as you try to decipher TWO images every time you glance at your mirrors.
Finally, I think they detract a bit from the styling of the Vision - although they look ok in themselves.
I think I will be removing them soon - first I will try to dampen the vibration as suggested - but likely I will try them on some other vehicle since the concept is good and I hate to waste the $$$$.

I agree with donetracey about the vibration, but since the main mirror is for looking and I always turn and look before changing lanes, I have them set to view right next to my bike just out of my preipheral where autos some times move into that space. I look at it as an extra advantage. I'm going to play with trying to stablize the vibration out of them to make them easier to use.

Any idea as to whether or how they effect the air flow (if any) back to the passenger?

I popped the back off, unscrewed the center screw so the mirror pops out, and then placed a "doughnut" of fairly firm packing foam around the mirror stem before reinstalling. While still adjustable, the compressed foam behind the mirror stopped the vibrations.
