Subject: Taking off the saddle bag doors

I am having some custom painting done next week on the Vision and I need to take the saddle bag doors off. I can see to unbolt the hinges, but I can't see how to take the piston off. I see the brass nut, but I am not sure if all I do is unscrew that- I don't want to break anything so help me out here guys!

BTW- Here is a photo so the work I am having done... geek yes!

The service manual PDF contains everything you ever wanted to know about the 2008 Victory Vision but were afraid to ask.

For the bodywork, I would think that the difference is not that much between the 2008 and 2009.

I like your theme.
Have you seen the new Enterprise from the next Star Trek movie. It's like the first TV shows, but with a newer flare. Pretty nifty...........
