I GUESS THAT I AM NOT READY TO DO ANY ENGINE WORK TO MY VISION. HAS ANYONE JUST PUT THE LLOYD'S INTAKE KIT ON? WELL WITH THE K&N FILTER? WHAT ARE YOUR IMPRESSIONS?

THE COST/BENIFIT SEAM TO BE REASONABLE.

IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME YOUR HUMBLE OPINIONS I WOULD BE GRATEFUL AND BUY THE FIRST ONE WHEN WE MEET!!!

THANKS

That might work OK, but generally, when you alter the intake to provide more air for the fuel mixture, you must also alter the amount of fuel to keep the air/fuel ratio optimum. Don't know if the engine computer alone can adapt the mixture enough. The thing to do might be to call or E-mail Lloyd and ask him; he'd be the one to know for sure, and having met and spoken with him a couple times I think he'd be happy to let you know.

When used with a stage1 kit it does a good job. Without stage1 it just makes extra noise

I have Llotd's intake (which I installed myself, so it can't be very hard to do) & had Stage 1 Level 1 w/ Gatlin tips installed @ dealer. Definitely lets the 106 breathe better. Just changed the spark plugs (while changing oil/filter) & they looked perfect. Not too lean or too rich.
The Vis has great power & still gets around 42 MPG when 2UP.
SO, yes I'm happy with the results for the $ JMHO
