Northeast Ohio | Fellow riders with trailers - I am thinking of making this my next purchase as I plan on doing a number of longer trips this year and don't think I will be able to get everything in my onboard storage.
Does anyone have pics of theirs or recommendations to consider when buying one? I am intrigued with the N-Line and ZZ Trailers.

Fargo, ND | One of the incentives I see to pulling a trailer is it removes weight from the bike and transfers it to the trailer. A couple hundred lbs. of weight in the trailer equals about 25 - 30 lbs of tongue weight on the bike rather than the full 200 lbs. of the load on your bike. When I pull my trailer basically everything goes in the trailer. My saddle bags and trunk are virtually empty except for the quick need items like hat, rain gear, etc. We are not cramped for space if the wife unit wants to take some extra stuff along. You know the saying...Everybody's happy! |

| John, I've been looking at the ZZtrailers myself. Bushtec also has a few nice looking rigs. Have you managed to get a price on the ZZ units yet? |

NW Illinois | Bushtec for cargo trailers is the best IMHO. Safety, Style, Performance & Craftsmanship", the only trailer manufacturer to utilize true Air Ride Technology. Other trailers use an "air assist", but the other components (leaf springs, coil springs, "Flexi-Ride" (rubber-ride) allow the trailer the opportunity to bounce. Behind a 4 wheeled vehicle, bouncing is no problem. However, behind 2 wheels this is not desired. Standard features on all of our trailers include a 360 degree swivel coupler, an anti-sway bar and 6 ply tires; the strongest tire of any trailer.

Aberdeen SD | Also look at Aluma they make a all aluminum trailer with torsion axles,aluminum wheels ,LED lights standard and many colors www.alumaklm.com very easy pulling trailer in two sizes one you can even take your golf clubs along also has a cooler tray |

Teach, the ZZs are over 4K! Ouch! But they sure look nice. They seem to tailor to the BMW folks.
Blackjack, would you buy this again? How is customer service if you had to use them?
Graybeard, the Bushtecs are nice too. I definitely don't want the GoldWing look and like the Turbo model. Add that one to the list.

Fargo, ND | I purchased an Alumalite last fall. http://www.americasbesttrailers.com/ Did the hitch and wiring early this spring. We still have winter and flood water receeding here, so the bike is still in the garage. Looking forward to getting going. Here's a photo of mine...

I purchased the trailer from a dealer here in Minnesota and he was great to work with. As for the manufacture; last year i painted it midnight cherry to match the bike and needed a new trin kit, i called the manufacture and had it in less then a week N/C. Would i buy again? Yes. |
