my rear tire is almost shot. 9400 miles at 40 psi. I ofte do mtn twisties and am a aggressive rider (no burnouts or anything just love the mountain turns) has anyone has seccess with a longer lasting tire? Ive always liked matzlers...has anyone tried them on the vision?

So Cal
Just under 12k, replaced sat. Less grip, longer life, more grip, shorter lif (for the tire that is). Opposite for the rider.

My dealer is an avid Vision rider, and he has been thru 3 sets of tires. One of the sets was Metzler and he indicated he got less wear out of those than the E3 stock that are on the Vision. I'm 5k into my second set at 25k miles. Seems like around 10k is where I am. I ride pretty hard and have friends on Visions getting a little more mileage but it seem like 10-13K is about normal. I ride every day and check the pressure 2-3 times a week. I'm sure a believer that the correct tire pressure is the number one factor in longer life.
