I couldn't believe it...I was just in Castle Rock Colorado and wanted to stop into a nice shop that had some GREAT stuff for the Vision. I was there to look for some clothes and grab a hat that I saw only a few weeks prior. Well, I got there and I was laughing (not a funny ha ha laugh) that the dealer was closed (repossessed) for NOT paying taxes.

What? Not paying taxes? Really? Seriously? WHATEVER! How the hell does this happen? Must you really be that hard up to NOT pay taxes? I mean, how hard is it to take the money from a sale on a bike, pull out the taxes and send them in? I can't imagine its that difficult!

So, anyone looking for Extreme Power Sports in Castle Rock...just keep riding! The next dealer is either Colorado Springs or Grand Prix in Littleton. While Grand Prix is a nice place...it does NOT have a ton of on hand extras. So, its not really worth your time. So, instead, head to Wadworth and Colfax. The dealer up there is much more knowledgeable and has some good extras sitting on the shelf.

My understanding is that their northern store near Longmont is closed also... Probably for the same reason. They did have alot of stuff for the Vision, but their service dept sucked.

I am beginning to realize that service for the Vision sucks at 99% of the places. I wish I were near the 1% as I would frequent them OFTEN!

Alow me to add another dealer closing to the list. I took my VV in last Tuesday to have the right fork checked since I noticed it was leaking after some brisk rides. I received a call today informing me that the store was closing and I needed to pick up my bike. That stor for all of you central Florida owners is the Longwood, FL RideNow Powersports location. I placed a call to the closest dealer in Kissimmee, FL and Billy promised to make it worth the effort.

Glimmer of hope. I know this wont help you boys living in the middle of the country much less the west coast, but here in Virginia
we have the 1% dealership. They O N L Y sell Victory motorcycles THATS ALL. They are a family owned business where all of the kids work at the dealership the oldest son is general manager, his wife is sales and finance manager, his brother is service manager
and both parents work in whatever capacity as needed. They have a beautiful showroom attached to another room thats accessories only.
Every time you go in, there are always people there "just visiting" they dont even need their bike worked on they just wanted to stop in and chat. We have a monthly dinner ride where all of their customers are invited, we pick a place and all ride to dinner. The dealership has picked up the tab many times. We have all become so family like that the general manager and his wife were just over our house this past weekend for dinner. (shhh afterwards we all went up to the den and played Wii) beer drinking Wii players, now THATS fun!!
So, my point isnt to make you guys feel worse about your own dealerships, but i do want people to know that there are outstanding dealers here who do appreciate you, value your patronage, enjoy making you happy AND PAY THEIR TAXES !!!
Virginia might not be 30 minutes away from you, but I can assure you, they are worth the trip if you need help with your Vision.
they are www.catlinkustomcycles.com ask for Jeremy general mgr, Julie sales and finance mgr, Nick service mgr. Ricky and Theresa big daddy and tiny mamma, the owners. oh for what its worth Ricky drives a Blue Vision and tries to keep up with me competing for who has the most chrome, Jeremy drives the Ness Vision Street, Nick drives a hammer.
