did my test flight around 8:30pm tonight and all seems well, very well.
I am amazed to hear the quietness of all the ticking and tating of the exhaust leaks. I hope to post the 4 places that it was leaking but hopefully have been cleard up.

New front and rear tire and a new belt, new plugs and fresh fork oil fluid. Feels like the very first time, but even better.

Anyone doing the fork oil change on there own I will rate it a moderate for the mechanically inclined. The biggest agrevation is the top pinch bolt but I made my own wrench that takes care of it nicely from the top.

I would recommend a spring compressor, but all in all it took maybe an hour to do both, not counting nearly knocking the bike off the jack trying to pull the left one where the inspection sticker was placed on the top. Fortunetly it was last years so scrapped it off and cleaned it.

All went back together nicely but I wished I read the book completely for all tasks as for the rear brake assembly. I took it too much a part which gave me trouble putting it back together in the wrong order. The caliper stays on the bracket, but the bracket is a bear to line up when putting the axle bolt through.

I find the vision very easy to work on and it is one of the engineer friendly toward the maintenance and upkeep of the bike. I read once that was also a thought in the vision to be a true road bike to make it easy to do the maintenance.

I had a great experience with the Vision dispite the 90 degree weather and late nights in the little shed as a garage working on 'er. Feels better to be back on the road.

Oh, the major poppoing is gone, thank goodness! I had a pop on the down shift one and I will attribute that to the EFI stuff, as I have no more leaks and the engine purrs and the rumble sounds sweeter then it did before.

Great job VR.  So glad it's better than new.  You deserve it.

Good report, yes the back tire is a bugger to get back on by one person. How do your brake pads look, and did you consider changing the brake fluid?
