I saw somewhere a slideshow presentation made by one of Vic's high-ups (Blackwell, I think) that included a pic of an early concept of the Vision. It appeared to be a dressed Kingpin, with hard bags and a fairing. Is that picture available somewhere? I'd like to check it out in more detail!

The only place I've seen that bike was in the VRA magazine. So if you've saved those, I would look at the issues from late 2007 or early 2008. It maybe electronic somewhere. It is a good looking bike.

Thanks, but that's not the one. It looks like an actual photo of a prototype, in red. I even tried to break out and save that particular photo, but couldn't figure out how.

Strangely enough, it's on THIS site I found it...:http://www.vision-riders.com/files/VictoryMotorcycles_1-19-07v2.pdf , slide 66.
I'm looking for other views of that bike as well- from rumors I'm hearing, it may be the new model that's been spotted in test drag.

thanks JAM, that is the first time I've looked all the way through, good stuff and good history. I'm glad they went with my Vision...

If you're looking to make a Kingpin like that, you can come pretty close with Corbin's Project Kingpin.

Yup I still have not figured out what fairing I want to run, but the Corbin bags are a good start

I had a Kp before I traded it in for my Vision..

These are the exact bags I was going to go with if I couldn't get the monies the way I wanted when I went to the dealer.. The ONLY bags that actually fit the complete rear end perfectly. All the other that are out there look added where as these look a part of...

Very Nice!

A friend of mine had these in black for his kingpin 8ball. They looked fantastic but he's has to replace them 2 or 3 times because the gelcoat keeps bubbling up.

"replace them 2 or 3 times because the gelcoat keeps bubbling up." Remember Corbin seats for the '99s. 10 years later and they still pedal shit if they stick Victory on the label.
