With the creation of the On Road Div. at Polaris, I'm sure a highway vehicle with more than two wheels is in the future. This will be big for the company as motorcycle riders age and may feel they can't handle motorcycle, but still want to be involved in the sport. For big city commuting everyday, some people buy the Smart Car, the Smart Person, would buy one of these!
There is no doubt the larger motors are in the future, on all the bikes. 116 cu in Vision would be sweet.
The Core bike was at Rapid City this year during Sturgis. The one in this picture is a lot different in that it is road ready with mirrors, turn signals, rear suspension, front fender, plus the exhaust on the right side. If sold, this will be a rocket ship.
The loaded XC is a Victory Ultra Classic. It will sell a lot.
The Vision Bagger is not for me.
Last year at the AVR I was shown one of the motors shown in the A, B, C concept bikes. This year at Sturgis, in a discussion with Victory, they indicated that project had been slowed due to project funding...but it will be moved forward in the future, maybe soon.

That's what I like about the people on this site. There's hardly any Victory bashing when it comes to viewing new styles/ideas. Sure, there's conflicting opinion, but that's fine. That's one of the reasons Victory chose us for posting photos of unveiling new models at the dealer meeting. As for the survey email, I for one appreciate that Victory is seeking out opinion. Some of the options they give may be beyond what they really intend to offer but they use them to identify extremes. Just saying thanks for your thoughtful opinions. I'm sure Victory is reading this thread and taking notes.

my take:

1. I'd love to see more storage on the Vision but not at the expense of sacrificing its lines. I'm sure the design team already has come up with a couple solutions.

2. I would buy a XC Bagger and lower it like the Ness custom at the AVR.

3. I would love to have a CORE if it had the swing arm kevinx believe is there!!!!!

It is a silly thing but it bugs me that Concept "H" says 106 ci and 1638 cc.

100 ci is 1638 cc
106 ci is 1732 cc

Sorry, it just messes with my head every time I see it.

I noticed that too. The engineers must have gone to school in OK.

I have been hearing rumors the 2011 Cross Country would offer a trunk. I figure by 2011 lots of folks who have already purchased one will have figured a way to mount an aftermarket or HD trunk, it just makes sense. Even if you bought a CC, new HD trunk w/hardware and had someone fabricate a mount you would only be at around $19500. So thats a real expensive trunk and lowers.
I think the Vission bagger is a bad idea, although I think the trunk on the bagger looks nicer than the current Vision trunk (just the trunk, not the mount). You lose the destinctive Vision V brakelite on the bagger.

When talking with Victory, they told me a trunk (tourpack) was already developed and would be offered for the XC/XR as an accessory.

All very interesting. will be nice to see how this all plays out. I really like the XC bagger and I'd like to see a Vision bagger in real life. The 116" engine, nows that's an A+ for me.................

Bring on the Vision Bagger! I've test rode the XC, but the Vision, is hands down, a much better ride.
Having said that, improve the Vision with bigger side bags, that's the missing link.

This is soooo August of 2009. I had another survey, but there was a non-disclosure on that one, so no more posting potential futures.

Yeah, I think it is crap. I think all I did to get on the list was signing up for a Polaris account.

I would like the extra (usable) storage space that the bags would provide my Vision.
