OK, I'm a Dumb-A$$! I took the center console off and promptly forgot to write down the switch wiring... I got everything back where it belongs, except the grip warmer switch wiring. Three poles on the switch, three wires, one light blue/pink, one brown and one blue.
Does anyone know the proper configuration for the switch? I appreciate you help, guys!

Terry

I don't remember, but I do know that I got mine backwards, so lo is hi and vice versa.  I'm too lazy to take the console off and redo it right now. I just know which to push when I need heat.

Here's a trick. One, look to see how the wires face and hang in relation to the switch when the console is on. Next, see which wire fits the best on the tang. (there's that dang tang again). If that doesn't work, hook them up the best way you know and see if the grip heaters work.

I did exactly the same thing, and surprisingly I got them back on right the first time. Now I just take note which goes where, but it seems I reall a black wire on mine, and mine is black=back, brown=front, and I have a white one that goes in the middle.

Thanks guys! I will check it out tonight when I get home. I'm pretty sure the lt blue/pink wire with the white connector goes on the center contact. Unfortunately, I moved the wires all over the place when I had it apart, so no telling which way they are supposed to go. I had it all apart installing the new chrome inner faring parts. More of a chore than I thought it was going to be, but man, do they look great on there! Now just have to finish putting the console back on and wash it, to remove all my finger prints and smudges!
Thanks again,

Terry

Got it all back together and it even works properly! I called the dealer to see if they happened to have a 2009 service manual, which they did, but evidently it doesn't have the wiring for this switch either... Just listes the blue/pink power wire. I put it (blue/pink) on the middle contact and the brown wire towards the rear. Everything seems to be working correctly. OK, at least they get warm... They may be backwards, like the Lone Ranger, but they do work! Thanks everyone for your help... Terry

TIP!!! Make a note of the correct wire attachment in your owners manual for future reference.

I just removed the center console to hook up my gps mount and I hooked up the wires backwards myself. I hand to use my infrared thermometer just verify that I hooked them backwards the first time. The grips in the low setting are about 76? and 86? on high. The proper wiring to the switch is brown wire towards the front of the bike on the switch, blue/pink in the center, and blue towards the rear. I was able to switch the wires without removing the console just by turning the handle bars all the way left and putting my hand under the console. Good luck hope this info will help someone out there.
