I put 1000 miles on the Vision this weekend and found the seat does have hot spots. Maybe I'm spoiled from riding 5 years with nothing but Corbin. Anyway, I realized what I hate about the Vision seat... it collects dirt and dust in the seam between rider and passenger.

I've had Corbin seats in the past and loved them. Curently our Vision has the Utopia backrest on it. Driving it is fine but as a passenger the amount of room has been greatly reduced. I find it very confining and uncomfortable to be a passenger. I like the stock seat without the backrest but my husband needs the backrest. If Corbin was to design a new seat for the Vision (with a driver backrest) please concider trying to maintain the space for the passenger.

on my last bike i had 3 corbin seats and my vision seat is completely more comfortable! I had a corbin solo, stinger,& dual tourer. and no matter which one i rode with, after about 100 miles i was starting to squirm.. I always bought corbin because they said Firmness is the secret.. At least compared to my last corbins that was a myth... It might be different for everyone. heavy people, thin people, people with back problems etc. Maybe the corbin focuses on a certain type of person?

That's an easy fix....spend more time riding....less cleaning

Anyone know if the current Corbin seat made for the Vision can be adapted for use with the heat controller on the handlebar?

What heat controller on the handlerbar? my heated grips are controlled from the dashboard and my seat is controlled from that left back side of the seat. My tour prem doesnt have any switches on the handlebars for anything heated..

gadget the only dashboard heated switching is for the for grips. as the seats have (2) switches and each switch has a HIGH and LOW setting.. the 2 switches are for drivers and passenger heating. and then high and low for each part of the seat. So to answer your question. NO there is no switch for the seat up front on the dash. its onlly controlled on the seat itself.

Also ride to work in 38 degree weather and seat heater works great even on low setting

How is the reach to ground? I think I read the Corbin is an inch or two taller than stock. And then there is that firm ridge at the sides that
makes it wider to straddle. Or, did they make it narrow enough for us shorter guys?

ridr, I have a Corbin on my old bike. I really like it, but it was really hard, even after 5K that I put on it. From looking at the pictures, it looks like a softer, more plush seat. What say you? Hard as a rock, or a little more forgiving. I really want one, but hate to shell out the money if it's going to be too hard.
